This Tanzania Lodge safari brings you to a Sanctuary which is renowned for its birdlife, tree climbing lions and a diverse landscape which include swamps, fig forest and open grassland. Then to Ngorongoro Crater the largest in the world which is 270m deep and 260 square kilometers deep. To Serengeti which is famous for its abundance of wildlife and the annual migration of close to 800,000 zebras and wildbeest that move as great mass across the savanna in a follow the leader fashion in search for food and water. The finally to the remote Tarangire National park which acts as dry season refuge to for animals from as far as north or Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Manyara

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel. Thereafter depart for Lake Manyara National park for a late afternoon or early evening game drive via the Namanga border town for migration formalities and Arusha for Lunch.The Park is renowned for its birdlife as well as the tree climbing lions. The size and the time you spend there will be sufficient to cover the park exhaustively. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater.

An early breakfast will be followed by departure for Ngorongoro for a full day crater tour with a picnic lunch. The crater is a home to all the big five and hence the same may be seen. Hippos, cheetah, antelopes and the spotted hyena abound as well as flamingos in the crater lakes. In the evening ascend steep and narrow crater walls for dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Serengeti

After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro conservation area for Serengeti National park via the pre-historic site at Olduvai Gorge, which was discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. L.S.B Leakey. The park covers 12,944 square kms of open plains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky out-crops referred to as Kopjes in the eastern part of the park are of scenic beauty and occasionally various cats can be seen lazing on them. The park contains very vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. After your game drive you will retire for the night at the Lodge

Day 4: Serengeti

Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the mid afternoon. The term “Serengeti” mean endless plains in the Masai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra, which occurs between the Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara. Variety of bird species can be seen in this park. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 5: Serengeti - Tarangire

After breakfast, depart Serengeti for Tarangire National park with lunch enroute. Tarangire serves as a dry season refuge for animals from as far as north or Serengeti and Ngorongoro as it has a permanent river flowing across it. The park has an atmosphere or remoteness and has fewer visitors than the other parks in Tanzania’s northern circuit. Arrive in time for a game drive, lunch will be taken enroute. The park contains all the big five except leopard, other migratory game seen here includes cape buffalo, hoopoes, lovebirds,starling,rock pythons, albino giraffe, puff adders, the fringe eared Oryx and the gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 6: Tarangire – Nairobi

After breakfast, proceed on a game drive then depart for Arusha for lunch and your onward transfer to Nairobi via Namanga town for immigration formalities, arriving in the evening.
