Kenya Family Safari
Day 1 Arrive JKIA. Meet Silver Dove representative for welcome and safari briefing. Transfer to Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Full day in Nairobi visiting local markets and also animal orphanage and Giraffe centre who are heavily involved in animal conservancy. Lunch at Karen Blixen coffee garden. Visit Karen Blixen Museum home of the famous Out of Africa Author. Transfer back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park via the Rift Valley arriving at the Lodge in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive to see the different species of animals that live there especially the endangered Rhino. Drive to the lake to see the flamingoes that give the lake a pink hue.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4 Breakfast at the lodge. Depart for Lake Naivasha. Set amongst woodlands, the park like grounds are visited by a wide variety of birds and wildlife. After lunch take a boat ride to the lake to see hippos and different species of birds. Relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge.
Day 5-7 After breakfast drive southwest to the Masai Mara for 3 days of game drives to spot the big fives and other wild game. Also get a chance to visit masai village to meet local Masai tribes. Optional balloon safari can be arranged with champagne breakfast in the bush. All meals and overnight at Tented camp.
Day 8 After breakfast depart for Nairobi. Transfer to Carnivore restaurant for a sumptuous lunch of game meat. Transfer to airport for onward flight. |
